IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION
DENTAL OFFICE REOPENING - JUNE 1, 2020
Dear Dental Family:
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and we are all looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. That said, we are excited to announce that as of June 1, we are appointing routine procedures, including exams, cleanings and treatment. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: Our Commitment to Your Safety.
Our office has always followed infection control recommendations made by The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) which are agencies that the American Dental Association (ADA) requires. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency’s recommendations.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.
New Safety Measures Include:
Entry Screening –. Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office along with getting a temperature check.
Express Check-in from Your Car – We’re reducing time in the waiting room, with new check-in procedures from your car. Once you have arrived, please call the office and we will begin check-in then. We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
Social Distancing – Team members and patients are following social distancing guidelines except as treatment needs dictate. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Please note that we are doing our very best to reschedule all of the appointments that we had to cancel.
Use of Face Masks – Everyone entering must wear a Face Mask. If you don’t have one, no worries, we are happy to provide one.
We ask for your patience as we implement these new guidelines and we look forward to seeing all of you soon. We are taking many steps to keep everyone safe. To make an appointment, please call our office at 973-927-9268.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.
